For Dry-Type Transformers

These Instruments are used for monitoring the temperatures of L.V. windings (upto 1000 volts maximum) of the dry type transformer. It will display winding temperatures and take necessary control action as per set and reset values programmed by the user. The protection system also records maximum temperature and will display the same along with corresponding channel number. Standard 4-20mA DC Signal Output and Optional RS-485 communication are available for connection to DAS / SCADA.

    "K" Type Thermocouple Based Electronic Temperature Controller (ETC) can Control up to 3 thermocouples in ventilated Dry-type transformer windings. Display the present winding temperatures and operate the relays by comparing the highest of the 3 winding temperatures to stored set point temperatures. This instrument is based on advanced microcontroller technology for better accuracy, self test & automatic calibration for complete range.

    2242 ETC is protected against surge, transient suppression, radio frequency interference, electrical noise and electromagnetic interference.

    The ETC 2242 is cord connected or permanently connected, Grounded, Equipment class1, Pollution degree 2, Measurement Category 2 and Installation Category II.
